PAWsitive Stories

This year, as part of the 2025 Canadian Red Cross Defibrillator Program, 14 community locations have been selected to receive an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on behalf of local Giant Tiger stores.

Each selected location will be equipped with a high-quality AED, placed in a central, accessible area. To ensure these devices can be used effectively in an emergency, two team members from each selected location will receive CPR and AED training through the Canadian Red Cross. This training ensures life-saving help is close by when it’s needed most.

The Canadian Red Cross is Canada’s leader in first aid education, providing communities with the tools, training, and resources they need to save lives. By partnering with this program, Giant Tiger is proud to help bring these essential resources closer to Canadians.
