At Giant Tiger, sometimes supporting our communities means thinking beyond donation.

When Merge Robotics, a community-based team from the Ottawa region, needed a space to build their competition robot, Giant Tiger was able to help at our Johnstown Distribution Centre. Throughout the season, these talented students used the space to design, build, test, and program their robot.

Recently, we were also proud to welcome the team for a behind-the-scenes tour of our Johnstown Distribution Centre, where they learned how robotics, automation, and teamwork help keep Giant Tiger moving every day.

A huge thank you to the entire Johnstown team for making this partnership possible. Partnerships like this remind us that being a community partner isn't just about what we do in our stores. It's about opening doors, creating opportunities, and helping inspire the next generation of innovators and leaders.
