Giant Tiger’s Winnipeg store at 507 London Street is getting ready to unveil its exciting new redesign on Saturday, November 8, featuring a brighter, more open shopping experience, expanded health, beauty, and grocery sections, and much more, all designed to better serve customers and celebrate the community it proudly calls home.
Store Manager Mike, who has been part of the Giant Tiger family for five years, says the redesign is more than just a new look, it’s about understanding the needs of local families, being a dependable neighbour, and creating a welcoming space that reflects the community.
“Our redesigned store isn’t just about a fresh look, it’s about creating a space that truly serves our cutomers and reflects the spirit of our community,” said Mike. “We want shopping here to feel easier, welcoming, and connected to the neighbourhood we’re proud to be part of.”
When asked about why staying connected to customers is so important, Mike put it simply.
“Community is where our customers come from,” said Mike. “Staying connected helps us deliver what’s important, whether that’s the products families count on in-store, or supporting local food banks and schools that make a difference right here in our neighbourhood.”
But above all, Mike says his greatest pride comes from his team.
“Our associates’ commitment to delivering a great customer experience every time is what makes this store special. They live our values, helping customers save money every day and creating a strong community connection.”
When it comes to Giant Tiger products, Mike admits it’s hard to pick just one favourite, but if he has to, there’s a clear winner:
